Good Morning World....

It must be Spring....getting the feel to write again:)

So...how are 'things' in the Fazey-Wood household? Okay as it happens!

These wonderful people
http://www.apgreenbuildersltd.co.uk/ have begun the process of sorting out our damp problem so we can redecorate our nest and make it all cosy for the autumn...

Holidays...Well we're off to our now traditional Easter weekend stay at Westfleet this coming Thursday - keeping an eye on the weather forecast.

Come the summer it's going to be less exotic this year - 10 days in Cornwall BUT for our 2nd anniversary weekend we're off t Paris!!

Then at Christmas we're taking a cottage on Portland so we can have a Christmas with the kids & grand kids...

Sport wise...time to update this entry

Watford...struggling :( Off to see them this afternoon play Middlesborough - we need to win.

Hertford Town...struggling :( They're playing Langford today.

Waikato - did ok in the New Zealand Cup, looking forward to it again this summer.

The Chiefs...won their first three away games in Super 14...then lost the next three!!

Ah well - that's sport.

We're going for a walk tomorrow...going to pick one of these:-

Life, Sport & Dinner.....

Life....

Life here in the Fazey-Wood household has been strained of late - nothing to do with a soap style crisis between Suzie and Me...just work impinging itself through our little bubble here in the nest.

I'm finding it hard to concentrate on any issue - head is just spinning around like a top at present and it's not nice...just makes it all the harder to get what I'm supposed to be doing in any sort of order - I find I'm just jumping around from one half finished issue to another: not good for me or the children I'm teaching -:(

Suzie has apparently not been making enough phone calls...but she doesn't have to bring her work issues back to the nest and can at least relax here...

So...what to do?

Options are....stop moaning, clear my mind and get on with the graft...get back to the clear and concise organisation of the workload I was capable of doing...or drink more...or seek help to stop the spinning top inside my bonce...-:)

Today it's the first option....

Sport....

Football...

Watford are doing remarkably well - except for the games I go and see!! We're 9th in the table and hopefully secure from a relegation battle...

Went yesterday to watch us play Crystal Palace at their place - I ALWAYS enjoy an away day even we are stuffed (as were see the report here )...train trips...different ales...food (although yesterday I cocked it up, was starving so I opted for fish n' chips then came to the most wonderful aroma of a jerk chicken take a way..I'll have to go back next year to try it out...)

Hertford -a different story here!! Right now we've no chairman (which means no money for ANYTHING)...and no manager after Pablo left ! Mind you, I reckon Scott (who has been running the reserves ) will do okay..if he doesn't want to play anymore himself that is....

Waikato ended up just missing the play-offs in the Air New Zealand Cup...I THOROUGHLY enjoyed watching the rugby on a Saturday morning sat in bed....roll on the Super 14 and The Chiefs !!

Dinner...

When (!) I've finished 'THE FIRST OPTION'...it's a superb piece of sirloin beef today - Deliah's in charge..

My World...

As my world tends to be focused on football (soccer for you colonials), here's a few pics from that area of my life...
These were taken at The Vic prior to our 2-1 win against Norwich...
No, your're not seeing double..there are TWO sets of goals, use second for warming up the goalies...

This pic (and far better than mine!!) is by DAN the photo man at Hertford Town...it was a soggy afternoon this Saturday..and we won 3-0

It's Friday....

Friday Fill-In 98!!

1. Please feel free to smile!!

2. When I hold snow, I can't help sniffing it occasionally.

3. My favorite thing to cook is venison - with a dark cherry sauce.

4. (No surprise...) Football (soccer) is something I can't get enough of.

5. That's the thing I love most about Watford Football Club - the uncertainty.

6. Sunday mornings always makes me think to myself, what the heck?

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to chillin', tomorrow my plans include the launderette (washing machine has died), then over to Holmer Green with Hertford Town and Sunday, I want to get a new washer!

5. Many people find it
hard to take personal informed decisions - follow the masses !!.

Strange colour outside...

So, where's all this global warming then?

Here we were expecting good old England to be as balmy as the Med in a few years - you know, brown slopes and olive groves - long warm autumns....RIGHT!!!

but..according to the The Telegraph, it's good for us...
