Walking...

Over our lovely Christmas break in Whitby, I had a little wander to Robin Hoods Bay.  It was a bright and sunny Christmas Eve  - parky though!!

Wow...another two months gone!!

Going to make a resolution...to at least update this once a week!!

So, as has become a new tradition ( solely due to my lassitude in keeping this blog up to date), I will begin this with a recap!!

Crimble

We started off the festivities with a flying visit to out lovely ladies and boys in Weymouth..all growing up WAY too fast :)

Was going to spend loads of time loading pics...but thanks to marvels of modern tech...(and google!) I don't need to...click on the link...

.

The seagull and me had a great time!!!

I have to admit, I love the way google is developing the photo side of ggogle plus...just dont use the rest of it!!  Do have to keep downloading the pics that autobackup from our mobile (tablets, phones...logged into same account on Suzies and mine)...keeps everything up to date...geomarking is fun as well:)

We finished up 2014 at John and Niecie's...hello 2015 :))

but before we go...our year in a quick video...

January into February...

I'ts a couple of days to half term...Ive lost half a stone...we had a cracking Burns Supper

and we move on now...:))

Back soon...

We're off for a Badders Christmas Meal on , be good to see the gang!  Seems an age since we played a game, finding it difficult to get a court on a Thursday at Harlow, may have to find somewhere else.
Friday..

It's Suzie's new(ish) dancing group's Christmas Festive Dance at Ickleford Village Hall...I will be my usual urbane (shhhhh) self whilst Suzie will be the dancer :)

Saturday...

Domestics, pack and off to Mothers, from whence we will depart on our little Christmas Jaunt to Whitby via Weymouth...

Christmas and beyond....

First of all I'm writing this after Ann has left us.  I'm not going to say too much except to say how wonderful it was to see so many people of all persuasions who came to say their goodbyes to someone who was obviously a big part of her community...

Two pieces in the Swindon Advertiser say it all...
Fundraiser Loses Her Life
Obiterary
The Three remaining Muskateers..

Angels in the Churchyard...

And an Angel of a car :)

Christmas

Before Ann left us, we had chrimble@brimble:)

and Crimble@Chesham...

Then New Year Arrived...

Happy 2014...

Christmas is coming....

Here we are, life is moving on:). A weekend away, Rainworth. It has become our annual pre Christmas trip, to see Suzie's Auntie Joyce, a very spiritedly near 90 young person !!

I had two options, go shopping, or, go to Mansfield and watch footie - oh hum....hard decision :)) So here I am sat in a trendy coffee bar ( The Green Bottle) with a rather nice Americano listening to a background musac of a rebellious flavour watching the world go by in the afternoon sunshine. It's a hard life, but some one has to do it !

This place is run/staffed by some very energetic young ( and youngish) ladies...feel knackered watching them!

Off to see 'The Stags', as Mansfield is known as, next...might just be a pub on the way though:)

and a Happy New Year to us all....

Can't believe it's been THREE years since I posted this
http://lendal.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html

Has Obama been the fresh broom we all hoped for?  Well after looking at the red necks coming through he republican primaries one can only hope that our colonials vote for him again come November !!!

Crimble was stress free, agony free and very nearly alcohol free!! Loads left in The Nest  - made some big boo boos with the wine - a crummy expensive rioja,  a car wash French Shiraz and an Eiswein that really should have been MUCH better !!  Anyway....

Had a trip to Weymouth to see the kids

We saw a reindeer :)

We had a birthday girl (84 and still keeping us in check!)

and the birthday food was YUMMY!!

As for the organisation of Christmas Day itself....our young lady awaoke to a Stocking for the first time since she was aty school !! We heard a squeek!!

The laydees of the house had a RELAXING time...
and my favourite part was ...

so, we're looking forward to 2012 with hope....
